Certified Nurse Midwife - Full-Time 40 Hours
Summary:
Provide quality patient-centered women’s health obstetrical and gynecological services for patients including comprehensive physical examinations, maternity deliveries, routine and appropriate sick-care assessments and interventions.
Minimum Qualifications: threshold below which you would not hire.
- Education in the disciplines of nursing and midwifery
- Certified by American College of Nurse-Midwives Certification
- Connecticut License Certified Nurse Midwife
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, normal maternal/fetal growth and development, and requirements of nurse-midwifery practice
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to independently seek out resources and solve complex problems
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
- Ability to provide leadership in the clinical area of expertise and in meeting organizational goals
- Excellent organizational skills
