Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Food Production supervisor, prepares, seasons, cooks, portions and serves food for Hospital patients, employees and visitors, including catered functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent required within two years of hire
• Minimum of one year of institutional cooking experience. Ability to read/write/speak in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional education from technical school specializing in hotel, restaurant or institutional cooking.
