Location: Westbrook, CT

Hours: Part-Time/30 hours - 2nd Shift (This is a benefits eligible position including shift differentials)

Shift Details: Evenings - 2 week rotation

Week 1: Tuesday-Thursday 3p-11:30p and Saturday 4p-10p

Week 2: Sunday 4p-10p, Wednesday and Friday 3p-11:30p

Position Summary:

Responsible for various patient -related access duties which include registering and processing patients to ensure Department and Hospital access and financial goals are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient typing/keyboard skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, and inter-personal)
• Flexibility of hours necessary to ensure department scheduling are met
• Professional appearance
• One year experience in a hospital or medical office including insurance and medical terminology.
