Based in Middletown, Conn., Middlesex Health, a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, includes Middlesex Hospital, a not-for-profit magnet hospital with 275 beds, and two Middlesex Health Cancer Center locations. Summary:
The Surgical PA will provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intra operative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. The surgical PA performs these functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations.

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an emphasis on surgery. Successful completion of the national PA certification examination and licensed to practice in the state of CT. Minimum of one year experience as a Surgical PA preferred.
