Summary:

The primary function of the advanced practice provider (APP) is to provide team-based care and management of primary care patients under the clinical supervision of the collaborative physician. 

To provide high-quality and efficient patient care to Middlesex Health Primary Care patients. Must be familiar and comfortable with diagnosing and treating primary care patients.

Requires independent decision-making, with immediate access to collaborate with other clinicians as appropriate and necessary

Involved in all aspects of care from obtaining a detailed history, performing physical examinations, development and implementation of treatment plans, prescription of medications, ordering and interpretation of laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as well as performing some procedures

Strong communication skills, detailed oriented, and ability to work together as a team

Experience working with a diverse patient population (multicultural environment, with patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds)

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum qualifications for APRN: MSN, Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree Program Current BLS Certification
